Welcome to Crossroads Care Bexley
Crossroads Care Bexley is a registered incorporated charity and company limited by guarantee.
We are affiliated to the Crossroads Association and come under their framework of policies and procedures, although we are autonomous with our own governance.
Our aims and objectives are to support the person with care needs and their Carers in the London Borough of Bexley and surrounding areas.
The organisation provides a range of services to enable Carers and the person they care for a short break from their caring responsibilities through the provision of community based Care Support Workers.
By providing a range of services we aim to improve the health and well being of both the carer and the person with care needs. The carer, by receiving a break, is relieved of the stress of caring and so enabled to continue as a carer. The person with care needs is enabled to carry on living in the community fully supported by trained staff.
The scheme is registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission whose role is to promote improvement in social care and to ensure standards are met in key areas. In addition we hold the Investors in People award and the Charity Commissions quality kitemark. We also hold a Level 3 quality assurance standard in CROQUET.(a quality assurance standard based on PQASSO).
Although the scheme is affiliated to the Crossroads Association, we have our own Board of Trustee Directors that have responsibility for the strategic governance of the organisation. |
